Three people were injured in what officials say was a DUI crash involving 47-year-old Lori Gallo, the wife of a California cheese magnate, who they say was drunk and speeding at more than 125 mph when she attempted to pass a vehicle on a two-lane road in Merced and sideswiped it.

A mother and her three children, ages 3, 8, and 11, were injured in a truck accident on Highway 101 in Salinas when a semi-truck driver made an illegal U-turn on the highway.
According to a KION news report, the crash occurred on the northbound side of the 101 at Hartnell Road on March 21, an area where U-turns are prohibited for trucks. The three children were airlifted to an area hospital for treatment, and their mother suffered a broken fibula and forearm and was taken to a hospital. All are expected to survive their injuries. Eduardo Perez, 22, was killed in a truck versus motorcycle collision on the 710 Freeway in Long Beach on the morning of March 15.
According to a report in the Long Beach Post, officials say Perez died at the crash scene when his motorcycle and a semi-truck collided on the northbound 710 Freeway lanes near Wardlow Road.

Victor Gonzales, 30, was fatally struck in a Jurupa Valley pedestrian accident where the driver reportedly fled the scene.
According to a City News Service report, the fatal collision occurred early morning on March 15 at Van Buren Boulevard north of Clay Street. Riverside County Sheriff’s Department officials said Gonzales was walking on Van Buren Boulevard when he was run over.

According to CBS, the two were struck and killed on the afternoon of March 15 after picking up Julian’s 7-year-old sister from school.
Riverside police say the fatal crash occurred near Hayes and Roosevelt streets. Preliminary investigations show that a 46-year-old driver of a Range Rover was traveling westbound on Hayes Street when he turned onto Roosevelt Street and struck all three pedestrians as they crossed the roadway. Joshua Page, 18, his brother Jeremy Page, 17, were killed in a Huntington Beach car accident after the vehicle they were in collided with a city vehicle.
According to an NBC Los Angeles news report, the brothers were in an older model Ford F-250 on the morning of March 7 when their vehicle collided with a white Chevy Silverado belonging to the city of Huntington Beach at the intersection of Newland Street and Yorktown Avenue.

LA officials are offering a $50,000 reward to find a hit-and-run driver who struck and killed 42-year-old Jeremy Chavarria as he was crossing the street with his family in South Los Angeles. According to a KTLA news report, the collision occurred on the night of Feb. 26 as Chavarria, his wife, and their 2-year-old son were walking in a marked crosswalk to get to church in the area of 84th and Hoover Street.

A man was killed in a Fullerton pedestrian accident on the night of March 8, City News Service reports.
According to the report, the fatal collision occurred in the 2500 block of East Chapman Avenue west of the 57 Freeway and near Cal State Fullerton.
