The family of 55-year-old Reade Torrance Childres is asking for the public’s help to locate the hit-and-run driver who struck and fatally injured him. According to a KTLA news report, Childres was on a moped in the area along Crenshaw Boulevard near Westmont Avenue the afternoon of April 1st when a person driving a black Ford Flex struck the back of his moped and fled the scene. Police in Sun Valley are looking for two drivers in connection with a hit-and-run pedestrian accident that has left a 60-year-old woman dead. According to a report in the Los Angeles Daily News, the fatal collision occurred Feb. 26 when a Toyota Camry that was traveling north on Glenoaks Boulevard struck a pedestrian who police say was crossing outside a marked crosswalk. Juan Beltran, 51, a local pastor and father to six children, was severely injured in a hit and run crash in South Los Angeles. LAPD released a video of the hit-and-run that occurred the morning of Feb. 21 in the 1100 block of East 49th Street. Jose Manuel Garcia, 37, was killed in a pedestrian accident in Moreno Valley, which officials said, was caused by a hit and run driver. According to a City News Service report, the man was struck a little before midnight on Feb. 13 near the intersection of Fir Avenue and Perris Boulevard. Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene. LAPD officials are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a hit-and-run crash in Sun Valley that left a 58-year-old Glendale man fatally injured. According to a CBS Los Angeles news report, the crash occurred the morning of Feb. 6 at the intersection of Coldwater Canyon and Roscoe boulevards. Officials say a Chevrolet Silverado pickup was going north on Coldwater Canyon when it ran a red light at Roscoe and collided with the driver’s side of an older model Morris Minor that was traveling west on Roscoe. California Highway Patrol officials are looking for a suspect in a hit-and-run crash that left a 24-year-old Lake Elsinore motorcyclist with major injuries on Highway 74 between Lake Elsinore and Perris the evening of Feb. 3. According to a report in The Press-Enterprise, the victim was traveling on a Suzuki dirt bike west on the 74 east of Hammack Avenue when a gray, four-door 2006 Ford F-250 that was heading east on the highway turned north on Hammack into the path of the dirt bike. LAPD detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify a hit-and-run driver who left 33-year-old Anibal Macias Jr. fatally injured in downtown Los Angeles on Jan. 23. According to a KTLA news report, the incident occurred in the area of Alameda and 22nd streets.
