Jose Manuel Garcia, 37, was killed in a pedestrian accident in Moreno Valley, which officials said, was caused by a hit and run driver. According to a City News Service report, the man was struck a little before midnight on Feb. 13 near the intersection of Fir Avenue and Perris Boulevard. Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene. LAPD officials are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a hit-and-run crash in Sun Valley that left a 58-year-old Glendale man fatally injured. According to a CBS Los Angeles news report, the crash occurred the morning of Feb. 6 at the intersection of Coldwater Canyon and Roscoe boulevards. Officials say a Chevrolet Silverado pickup was going north on Coldwater Canyon when it ran a red light at Roscoe and collided with the driver’s side of an older model Morris Minor that was traveling west on Roscoe. California Highway Patrol officials are looking for a suspect in a hit-and-run crash that left a 24-year-old Lake Elsinore motorcyclist with major injuries on Highway 74 between Lake Elsinore and Perris the evening of Feb. 3. According to a report in The Press-Enterprise, the victim was traveling on a Suzuki dirt bike west on the 74 east of Hammack Avenue when a gray, four-door 2006 Ford F-250 that was heading east on the highway turned north on Hammack into the path of the dirt bike. Police are continuing their search for a hit-and-run driver who they said crashed into a car killing two teens in an unincorporated part of Palmdale the night of Jan. 30. According to a KTLA news report, the two males, ages 17 and 18, were in a 2018 Honda Civic when a car ran a red light and slammed into their vehicle at the intersection of Avenue O-8 and 10th Street West. LAPD detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify a hit-and-run driver who left 33-year-old Anibal Macias Jr. fatally injured in downtown Los Angeles on Jan. 23. According to a KTLA news report, the incident occurred in the area of Alameda and 22nd streets. According to a KTLA news report, the crash was reported about noon Jan. 4 near the intersection of Adams Boulevard and Nevin Avenue in the Central Alameda neighborhood. LAPD officials are seeking information about a man in connection with a hit-and-run crash that left a woman severely injured in Boyle Heights. According to a KTLA news report, the major injury collision occurred the evening of Dec. 19 as a couple was crossing the street at the intersection of Soto Street and Cesar Chavez Avenue. The driver of a white pickup truck was westbound on Cesar E. Chavez and turned left onto Soto Street crashing into the woman and knocking her onto the street. Los Angeles Police Department officials are asking for the public’s help finding the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that left an 85-year-old woman dead. According to a KTLA news report, the incident occurred the evening of Dec. 27 when the victim was walking on Lankershim Boulevard in a marked crosswalk. Jaylene Aguirre, 16, has been hospitalized in critical condition after she was struck by a pickup truck whose driver left the scene. According to an NBC news report, the major injury collision occurred on Dec. 25 near the girl’s home in Hemet. Aguirre and her boyfriend were riding his new minibike when they were struck by a Toyota truck.
