Emilio Rios, 65, was killed and another woman suffered major injuries in a dog attack in North Shore in Riverside County.

According to a report in The Desert Sun, the incident occurred early morning on September 8, 2015 in front of a home at 70-670 Sea Gull Drive.

Shortly after police found Rios, they heard a cry from a woman who was being attacked by dogs nearby. Officers were able to scare the dogs away, but the woman has been hospitalized with major injuries.

According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the fatal motorcycle versus truck accident occurred at the 18 Freeway and All View Drive in Running Springs.

Nursing Home AbuseThe California Department of Public Health has issued a fine and citation to a Fremont nursing home for negligent care, which officials say, resulted in the death of one of its residents.

According to a Bay City News report, the penalty of $100,000 has been slapped on Crestwood Manor, as killed nursing facility.

The nursing home has also received a Class “AA” Citation from the state, which is the most severe penalty under state law.
