Sierra Arellanes, 32, was killed in a pedestrian accident in Torrance when she was crossing Pacific Coast Highway early on the morning of May 9.
According to a CBS News report, Arellanes was crossing Coast Highway near Calle Mayor outside a crosswalk when she was struck. She died at the scene, according to authorities.

One person died and three others were injured in a crash between a car and a school bus.
Anthony Ramirez, 57, who was driving an SUV, died in the collision, while three people in a school bus suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The accident happened on the morning of May 12 when the vehicles collided near Lake Elsinore.
According to a report in The Press-Enterprise, the crash was reported on Riverside Street near Highway 74. Ramirez, the driver of the 2009 Chevy HHR, had to be cut out of the SUV. He died in an area hospital from his injuries. Continue reading →

Ana Cruz-Sanchez, 29, of Rialto, was killed in a large truck accident on the 60 Freeway in Diamond Bar.
According to a City News Service report, the crash occurred on the morning of May 1 at the Grand Avenue off-ramp. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office said Cruz-Sanchez was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

Stephen Wright, 69, was fatally injured in a Simi Valley bicycle accident after his bike was struck by a commercial flatbed truck.
According to a KVTA news report, Wright was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision, which occurred a little after noon on April 27 in the area of Los Angeles Avenue and Sycamore Drive.

Leonidas Accip, 38, was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Koreatown when he was riding his bike to work with his 18-year-old brother, Wilder.
According to a Fox 11 Los Angeles news report, the fatal collision occurred early on the morning of April 26 on Olympic Boulevard. Accip was riding with his brother when they were both struck by a Jeep Cherokee.
