Christian DeOro, 43, is fighting for his life after being severely injured in a hit-and-run crash with a U-Haul van.
According to a KTLA news report, LAPD officials said a stolen U-Haul van going west on Osborne Street ran a red light at Beachy Avenue and slammed into a Toyota Yaris. A 77-year-old man was fatally injured in a pedestrian accident in Thousand Oaks, which officials say was caused by a hit-and-run driver.
According to a KTLA news report, a police officer initially spotted the victim, who appeared to have collapsed in a marked crosswalk on Thousand Oaks Boulevard just west of Clay Court. Benjamin Black, 31, was killed in a bicycle accident in North Las Vegas, which officials said, may have been caused by a speeding driver. According to a news report, the fatal accident occurred the morning of May 15 at Dorrell Lane and Bostick Weir Street near the 215 and Losee Road. Black was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police say a black SUV collided with the bicyclist while traveling eastbound on Dorrell Lane.
