A Nov. 4 car accident that left 12-year-old Isaiah Suarez Rodriguez dead and two others injured may have been caused by an off-duty Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputy, according to news reports.

According to a KTLA news report, on the night of Oct. 17, a gray Toyota Camry traveling west on Rochester Avenue negotiated a left turn onto southbound Federal Avenue. A 21-year-old man has been charged with murder for a fatal DUI crash that left 61-year-old Kyu Chen of Irvine.
According to a KTLA news report, Luis Marcial Diaz faces one felony count of murder for the death of Chen, who was on her way to work early morning on Sept. 27 when Diaz crashed into her vehicle after running a red light at the intersection of Sand Canyon Road and Irvine Center Drive. Police are asking the public to help identify a driver involved in a hit-and-run collision that killed 32-year-old Si Park.
According to a news report, Park was standing next to parked cars on Melrose Avenue near Edgemont Street early on the morning of Oct. 9 when he was struck by a car. Park was thrown into a parked vehicle and suffered major injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
