A woman died from injuries she suffered in a truck accident on state Highway 12 in Santa Rosa on the morning of Aug. 10.

According to a report on Patch.com, the fatal crash involved a box truck, the woman’s Nissan Versa, and four other cars at the Dutton Avenue off-ramp. Ana Cruz-Sanchez, 29, of Rialto, was killed in a large truck accident on the 60 Freeway in Diamond Bar.

According to a City News Service report, the crash occurred on the morning of May 1 at the Grand Avenue off-ramp. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office said Cruz-Sanchez was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

Seluster Lane, 77, of Redwood City, was killed in a truck accident in Bakersfield early on the morning of March 29.

According to a KGET news report, the fatal truck crash occurred on Highway 99 just north of Merced Avenue.

A mother and her three children, ages 3, 8, and 11, were injured in a truck accident on Highway 101 in Salinas when a semi-truck driver made an illegal U-turn on the highway.

According to a KION news report, the crash occurred on the northbound side of the 101 at Hartnell Road on March 21, an area where U-turns are prohibited for trucks. The three children were airlifted to an area hospital for treatment, and their mother suffered a broken fibula and forearm and was taken to a hospital. All are expected to survive their injuries. The driver of a box truck was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in a crash that killed a man who rear-ended the truck that was stopped on the 101 Freeway in Sherman Oaks. Aubree Hardy, 5, and her parents Rachel Miller, 27, and Aaron Hardy, 25, died after the minivan in which they were traveling in was struck from behind by a semi-truck, pushing it into the trailer of another big rig. According to a news report in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, the minivan was stopped for traffic on the 10 Freeway in Ontario on the morning of June 16th. Witnesses said the driver of the big rig that rear-ended the minivan was traveling at about 60 mph in heavy traffic with no indication that he applied the brakes before impact. Continue reading →
