A woman was critically injured in an El Monte pedestrian accident, which officials say was caused by a hit-and-run driver who may have been intoxicated at the time. According to a KTLA news report, the major injury collision occurred the afternoon of June 2 in the 4300 block of Cypress Avenue.

LAPD officials are circulating video of a hit-and-run crash in South Los Angeles that left a bicyclist in critical condition, and are asking for the public’s help to identify the driver.

According to a report on MyNewsLA.com, the collision occurred the evening of May 10 when the driver of a maroon Kia Optima traveling east on Florence Avenue turned right onto Flower Street and struck a man riding his bicycle in the crosswalk. Continue reading →

A 35-year-old man died after being struck by two hit-and-run drivers in South Los Angeles. According to a KTLA news report, the crash occurred early morning on April 12 near the intersection of Main and 70th streets in the Florence neighborhood. A light-colored, two-door car heading south crashed into a pedestrian who was in the southbound lanes of Main Street. The family of 55-year-old Reade Torrance Childres is asking for the public’s help to locate the hit-and-run driver who struck and fatally injured him. According to a KTLA news report, Childres was on a moped in the area along Crenshaw Boulevard near Westmont Avenue the afternoon of April 1st when a person driving a black Ford Flex struck the back of his moped and fled the scene.
