A 21-year-old man has been charged with murder for a fatal DUI crash that left 61-year-old Kyu Chen of Irvine.
According to a KTLA news report, Luis Marcial Diaz faces one felony count of murder for the death of Chen, who was on her way to work early morning on Sept. 27 when Diaz crashed into her vehicle after running a red light at the intersection of Sand Canyon Road and Irvine Center Drive. Police are asking the public to help identify a driver involved in a hit-and-run collision that killed 32-year-old Si Park.
According to a news report, Park was standing next to parked cars on Melrose Avenue near Edgemont Street early on the morning of Oct. 9 when he was struck by a car. Park was thrown into a parked vehicle and suffered major injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to an NBC Los Angeles news report, the crash occurred on the night of Aug. 3 on North Glenoaks Boulevard at Andover Drive.
When police officers and paramedics arrived at the scene, they found two males and a female who had been ejected from a silver Volkswagen. All were unconscious and not breathing, and were pronounced dead at the scene. The fourth occupant of the vehicle had sustained serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital.
