A man in his late 20s was struck and killed in a hit-and-run collision the morning of July 1 on La Cienega Boulevard near the 405 Freeway in Los Angeles. According to a City News Service report, the crash was reported on La Cienega at Imperial Highway. Police said the man was crossing La Cienega when he was struck by a vehicle that was southbound. The driver did not stop and kept going, officials said.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The hit-and-run vehicle was described as a white recreational vehicle or camper, police said. No driver description was available.
