Two women were killed and three others were injured in a car accident in Long Beach, early on the morning of Aug. 16. According to a CBS Los Angeles news report, police officers responded to a two-car crash near the intersection of Pacific Avenue and 21st Street.

According to a KTLA news report, multiple agencies responded to an emergency call in the Santa Ana River near Wilderness Avenue. When they arrived at the scene, first responders found four victims – three men and a woman – with bite wounds.

According to a KTLA news report, the husband and wife were crossing at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Newland Street the night of July 25 when the driver of a Nissan Altima ran a red light northbound on PCH and struck them.
