A man in his late 30s was injured in a Los Angeles motorcycle accident when his Harley Davidson went out of control and struck the center median. According to a news report in The San Gabriel Valley Tribune, the serious injury accident occurred on Norwalk Boulevard at Pantheon Street in Norwalk, the afternoon of June 5, 2011. The man was traveling southbound when his Harley Davidson veered out of control and hit the center median. He suffered severe head trauma in the crash. Officials are looking into what caused this motorcycle accident.
My thoughts and prayers are with the injured motorcyclist who is apparently in serious condition with a traumatic brain injury. I wish him the very best for a complete and speedy recovery.

According to California Highway Patrol’s 2008 Statewide Integrated Traffic Records System (SWITRS), one person was killed and 40 were injured in Norwalk motorcycle accidents. During that same year, there were 114 fatalities and 2,934 injuries reported as a result of Los Angeles County motorcycle crashes.
