LAPD detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify a hit-and-run driver who left 33-year-old Anibal Macias Jr. fatally injured in downtown Los Angeles on Jan. 23. According to a KTLA news report, the incident occurred in the area of Alameda and 22nd streets. LAPD officials are asking for the public’s help in identifying a hit-and-run driver who severely injured a person who was fixing a bicycle in South Los Angeles. According to a KTLA news report, the crash was reported about noon Jan. 4 near the intersection of Adams Boulevard and Nevin Avenue in the Central Alameda neighborhood. LAPD officials are seeking information about a man in connection with a hit-and-run crash that left a woman severely injured in Boyle Heights. According to a KTLA news report, the major injury collision occurred the evening of Dec. 19 as a couple was crossing the street at the intersection of Soto Street and Cesar Chavez Avenue. The driver of a white pickup truck was westbound on Cesar E. Chavez and turned left onto Soto Street crashing into the woman and knocking her onto the street. Los Angeles Police Department officials are asking for the public’s help finding the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that left an 85-year-old woman dead. According to a KTLA news report, the incident occurred the evening of Dec. 27 when the victim was walking on Lankershim Boulevard in a marked crosswalk. Jaylene Aguirre, 16, has been hospitalized in critical condition after she was struck by a pickup truck whose driver left the scene. According to an NBC news report, the major injury collision occurred on Dec. 25 near the girl’s home in Hemet. Aguirre and her boyfriend were riding his new minibike when they were struck by a Toyota truck. An 82-year-old man who was riding a mobility scooter was severely injured in a hit-and-run crash in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles. According to a KTLA news report, the victim was riding his scooter on Mott Street in a marked crosswalk when a car hit him on the morning of December 4. The vehicle, which investigators say was a silver or gray Mazda CX-7, had turned left on to east Whittier Boulevard from south Mott Street when it struck the man. LAPD officials have doubled the reward for information in the search for a hit-and-run driver who they say fled after striking and fatally injuring 76-year-old Kuen Ham. According to a KTLA news report, Ham was crossing Miramar Street early morning on Nov. 23 when the driver of a Toyota Corolla making a left turn from Union Avenue struck her. Hildeliza Rios, 80, was injured in a San Fernando hit and run crash the morning of Nov. 19. According to a KTLA news report, the 911 call about the hit-and-run at the intersection of North Maclay Avenue and 8th Street came in around 10:30 a.m. Rios was found complaining of pain in the back and legs.
