A man and a 15-year-old boy, both of who were passengers in a box truck, died in a crash early April 23 on the 101 Freeway in Sherman Oaks. According to a news report, 20-year-old Bianca Lopez was driving a 2008 Honda east on Van Nuys Boulevard when she rear-ended a 2019 Isuzu box truck. A 35-year-old man died after being struck by two hit-and-run drivers in South Los Angeles. According to a KTLA news report, the crash occurred early morning on April 12 near the intersection of Main and 70th streets in the Florence neighborhood. A light-colored, two-door car heading south crashed into a pedestrian who was in the southbound lanes of Main Street. The family of 55-year-old Reade Torrance Childres is asking for the public’s help to locate the hit-and-run driver who struck and fatally injured him.
