A woman was critically injured in an El Monte pedestrian accident, which officials say was caused by a hit-and-run driver who may have been intoxicated at the time. According to a KTLA news report, the major injury collision occurred the afternoon of June 2 in the 4300 block of Cypress Avenue.

Kelley Reid Spencer, 26, was killed and five others were injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Reseda. Officials say the fatal crash was caused by vehicles that were street racing. According to City News Service report, the crash occurred on the night of May 23 at Corbin Avenue and Saticoy Street in Reseda. Spencer died at the scene.
LAPD officials said Spencer, who was driving a black BMW M3, was driving northbound on Corbin Avenue, as was a black 2015 Mini Cooper convertible that was being driven by a male juvenile, whose name was not released.
