A 69-year-old woman was killed in a Huntington Beach pedestrian accident after she was struck while crossing the street. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the fatal crash occurred the evening of March 6. Police got reports that a gray Nissan Murano had struck a pedestrian on Talbert Avenue east of Bell Circle. Officers located the pedestrian lying in the roadway. An 88-year-old woman was killed in a Santa Ana pedestrian accident after a truck hit her while she was crossing the street. According to a report in The Orange County Register, the woman was struck by a vehicle that was turning left from Sullivan Street onto Willits Street just before noon on Feb. 23rd. A woman was fatally struck and injured in a pedestrian accident in Lancaster, which officials say was the second vehicle versus pedestrian incident in five days in the area. According to the Antelope Valley Press, the collision occurred the evening of Jan. 10 on 20th Street West, south of Avenue I. Preliminary investigations show that a man driving a Ford Escape was traveling north on 20th Street West when he struck the pedestrian. She was walking across 20th Street West. Nanci Perea Rosales, 69, suffered fatal injuries in a Santa Ana pedestrian accident the afternoon of Dec. 13. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, Santa Ana police responded to calls of a vehicle versus pedestrian collision near Main Street and Alton Avenue. When officials responded, they found Rosales down in the roadway suffering from major injuries. A man was killed in a Long Beach pedestrian accident. According to a CBS Los Angeles news report, the fatal pedestrian accident occurred when the man crossed the street in an unmarked crosswalk at the intersection of Park Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway. Firefighters responded to render aid to the man who later died from his injuries. Based on preliminary investigations, the 66-year-old driver was going east on Pacific Coast Highway when he struck the pedestrian in the roadway. The driver remained at the scene.
