What to Do After a Crash
Based on this news report, it is unclear as to who caused this multi-vehicle crash. Any time a number of vehicles are involved in a collision, the investigation can get significantly more complicated. In such cases, it is important to make sure injured victims or families of deceased victims don’t talk to other lawyers or insurance companies without first consulting with their own Los Angeles car accident lawyer.
If you have been injured, it is important that you get prompt medical attention, treatment and care. File a police report and make sure you get a copy of the report. Gather as much evidence as possible from the scene including cell phone photos, video footage, eyewitness statements and contact information for those who were involved as well as insurance details.
It would be in the best interest of victims and families to retain the services of an experienced Los Angeles personal injury lawyer who can help guide them through what can be a complex legal process. In such cases, at-fault parties can be held financially responsible for the injuries, damages and losses caused. An experienced car accident lawyer will be able to fight to help you secure maximum compensation for your losses including medical expenses, lost income, hospitalization, permanent injuries, disabilities and pain and suffering.
