Causes and Compensation Issues
In this particular case, it is unclear as to how or why this accident occurred. There are a number of questions here. Did alcohol and drugs play a part? Was either one of the vehicles speeding? Did the driver fail to yield the right of way to the motorcyclist? Was one of the vehicles making a turn at the intersection? Did distracted or reckless driving play a part in this fatal collision? We trust officials are looking into these and other issues in order to determine precisely what occurred here and why.
In such cases where negligence may have been a factor, families of deceased victims may be able to file a wrongful death lawsuit seeking compensation for damages such as medical expenses, funeral costs, lost future income, pain and suffering and loss of love, care and companionship. An experienced Orange County motorcycle accident lawyer will be able to advise injured victims and their families regarding their legal rights and options.
