Ching Fong Liu, 82, was killed in a car accident in La Habra the night of May 19, 2016. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the fatal accident occurred at the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and Arbolita Drive. Officers responding to the scene reported that two women and two children were injured. One of the women, Liu, died from her injuries later. They haven’t released information regarding the cause of the crash. Anyone with information is being asked to contact the La Habra Police Department’s traffic unit at 562-383-4300.

According to California Highway Patrol’s 2013 Statewide Integrated Traffic Records System (SWITRS), there were two fatalities and 280 injuries reported as a result of car accidents in the city of La Habra. In Orange County as a whole, 165 people died and 13,837 were injured as a result of traffic accidents during the same year.
