A 77-year-old man was fatally injured in a pedestrian accident in Thousand Oaks, which officials say was caused by a hit-and-run driver.
According to a KTLA news report, a police officer initially spotted the victim, who appeared to have collapsed in a marked crosswalk on Thousand Oaks Boulevard just west of Clay Court. The victims have been identified as Willa Henderson, 31, and Mary Henderson, 72, both from Vero Beach, Florida. According to a CBS News report, Arellanes was crossing Coast Highway near Calle Mayor outside a crosswalk when she was struck. She died at the scene, according to authorities.
