Protecting Your Rights

Multi-vehicle crashes can be complicated in terms of investigations and liability issues. If you have been injured in a car accident involving several vehicles, there are a number of steps you can take to protect your rights. First, remain at the scene and make sure your version of the incident gets into the police report. Obtain a copy for your records. Get prompt medical attention and treatment for your injuries. Get as much evidence as you can including photographs from the accident scene, contact information for eyewitnesses and pertinent information from others involved in the crash.

Do not speak to insurance companies for other parties or defense attorneys who are involved in the case. Do not enter into any settlements or agreements unless you have spoken with an experienced San Bernardino personal injury lawyer who will fight hard to protect your rights and best interests.
