Elderly Woman Dies from Injuries Suffered in Huntington Beach Car Accident

An 88-year-old woman has died from injuries she sustained more than a week ago in a two-vehicle car accident in Huntington Beach. According to a news report in the Los Angeles Times, the woman had been transported to a local hospital after complaining of neck and back pain. The incident occurred the afternoon of Aug. 24. The elderly woman was behind the wheel of a 2007 Toyota Camry when the collision occurred near Beach Boulevard and Cypress Drive. The Toyota sustained moderate front-end damage.

Fatal Crash

The other car, a 2015 Mini Cooper had minor rear-end damage. The driver of the Mini, a 27-year-old woman was not injured in the crash. No arrests or citations have been reported.
