An 88-year-old woman has died from injuries she sustained more than a week ago in a two-vehicle car accident in Huntington Beach. According to a news report in the Los Angeles Times, the woman had been transported to a local hospital after complaining of neck and back pain. The incident occurred the afternoon of Aug. 24. The elderly woman was behind the wheel of a 2007 Toyota Camry when the collision occurred near Beach Boulevard and Cypress Drive. The Toyota sustained moderate front-end damage.
Fatal Crash
The other car, a 2015 Mini Cooper had minor rear-end damage. The driver of the Mini, a 27-year-old woman was not injured in the crash. No arrests or citations have been reported. The investigation into the collision is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police at 714-536-5666.
