Concordia University Student Killed in Irvine Motorcycle Accident

Garrett Ryder Wade, 18, was killed in an Irvine motorcycle accident after a vehicle struck him near a street intersection. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the fatal crash occurred the morning of Jan. 15 near the intersection of Walnut Avenue and Kazan Street. The motorcyclist, identified as Wade, was transported to an area hospital where he died. The driver of the car that collided with the motorcycle Wade was riding, remained at the scene and cooperated with police. No arrests or citations were reported pending an ongoing investigation.
