Chino Hills Head On Crash Causes Major Injuries

A head-on car accident in Chino Hills left two motorists severely injured.

According to a news report in in The Press-Enterprise, the major injury collision occurred the night of February 26, 2015 at Carbon Canyon Road and Canyon Hills near the city’s western border.

The victims were only identified as
a woman in her 40s and a man in his 30s. Officials say the man may have been ejected from the vehicle, which he was driving. The investigation is still ongoing.

According to California Highway Patrol’s 2012 Statewide Integrated Traffic Records System (SWITRS), there were five fatalities and 98 injuries involving car accidents in Chino Hills.

In San Bernardino County as a whole, 217 people died and 7,942 were injured due to traffic collisions during the same year.
