Six Injured in Los Angeles MTA Bus Accident

At least six people including multiple passengers were injured after a Metro bus slammed into a pole. According to OnScene TV, authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a bus near the intersection of East Florence and Maie avenues in the Florence-Graham area the night of May 19.

Units arriving at the scene located a Metro bus that had crashed into a traffic signal pole and some scaffolding. Firefighter paramedics transported at least six people from the scene including several passengers. The circumstances surrounding the bus accident and the extent of the victims’ injuries were not immediately available. Reports from the scene indicate the bus was headed to Bell Gardens at the time of the crash.
