Ongoing Investigation

Based on this news report, it is unclear as to what caused this tragic car crash. There are a number of unanswered questions here. Why did the driver lose control of the vehicle? Did driver fatigue, alcohol or drugs play a part? Was there a vehicle defect or mechanical malfunction in the vehicle, which may have caused or contributed to the fatal crash? Was speed or reckless driving a factor in the crash? Was the driver wearing his seatbelt at the time or was he thrown out of the vehicle because his seatbelt failed? These are some of the questions that must be asked and answered in order to determine what caused this fatal crash.

Contacting an Experienced Lawyer

In such cases, it is important to contact an experienced car accident lawyer who has successfully handled similar cases. It is important to have an independent investigator thoroughly look at the vehicle for all possible evidence including defects and malfunctions. That’s why it is important to preserve the vehicle in its current condition after a car accident.

It is also important to ascertain whether a seatbelt defect caused the man’s ejection and fatal injuries. If that was the case the automaker and the seatbelt manufacturer can be held liable. Injured victims or families of deceased victims would be well advised to contact an experienced auto defect lawyer who will analyze all aspects of the incident and help hold the at-fault parties accountable.
