This news report does not offer details about how or why this California car accident occurred. In fact, there are more questions than answers here. What model car was involved in the accident? What type of vehicle was it (SUV, sedan, pickup truck)? Was alcohol or drugs involved? Were the driver and passengers wearing their seatbelts? Were the major injuries to the occupants caused by roof crush? Were any other vehicles involved in the incident? Did the vehicle have an auto product defect or a mechanical malfunction, which may have caused the accident?

The answers to these questions will help determine who or what caused this injury car accident, whether there was any negligence involved and whether anyone should be held accountable for the accident and resulting injuries. The article says one person was thrown out of the vehicle. I would be curious to find out if that individual was wearing a seatbelt or if there was a seat restraint system failure that caused the person to be ejected.
