Four people were injured in a San Diego car accident which police say, was caused by a drunk driver. According to a news report in the San Diego Union-Tribune, the injury car accident took place the morning of November 7, 2010 on Palm Avenue in the South Bay area. Officials say a speeding BMW sideswiped a vehicle, which was then pushed into an unoccupied parked car.

Two people in the vehicle struck by the BMW, including a 34-year-old woman and her 17-year-old daughter were transported to a local hospital for the treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The woman sustained a broken femur. The 29-year-old driver of the BMW and his 30-year-old female passenger were also treated for injuries. The driver of the BMW was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

My thoughts and prayers are with the injured victims of this San Diego car accident. I wish them a complete and speedy recovery from their injuries.
