The California DUI Accident Victim Lawyers of Bisnar Chase Personal Injury Attorneys (www.BestAttorney.com) have recently announced their success in raising over $13,000 for Mothers Against Drunk Driving during the 5K Walk Like MADD event. The firm was the top fundraising team participating in the 5K walk, and also helped raise hundreds of dollars with a “Dunk the Law Firm” dunk tank, face painting, and balloon animals. Walk Like Madd was held on Saturday, May 8, in Huntington Beach, California.
Bisnar Chase Personal Injury Attorneys also helped out at the event as the Designated Driver Sponsor, where members of the law firm’s staff supplied water to those enduring the 5K and educated people about the legal rights of drunk driving crash victims through our Personal Rights Handbook for the Victims of Drunk Driving.
“It feels great to be part of such an important event, making a difference in the lives of drunk driving crash victims and their families,” said John Bisnar, founder of the personal injury lawyers at Bisnar Chase Personal Injury Attorneys. “I’m proud of our team and the money we raised for such a worthy cause. Giving back by providing financial support for drunk driving prevention programs is not only extremely rewarding, it’s critical to the survival of MADD and its programs, especially in these tough economic times.”
Walk Like MADD is designed to help Orange County MADD raise money to continue and enhance their programs for victims of drunk driving and to prevent drunk driving and underage drinking. The Orange County Walk Like MADD event is the largest amongst MADD fundraisers nationwide, with more that 1,500 participants. Walk Like MADD generates money to support MADD’s mission to save lives through education, awareness, and passage and enforcement of anti-drunk driving laws. The money raised from the fundraiser will help MADD continue their mission and uphold DUI Victims’ Rights.
John Bisnar explains that, according to statistics, three in every ten Americans will be involved in an alcohol-related car accident. Further, in California, the number of hit-and-runs after these accidents continues to rise. This is why Bisnar Chase Personal Injury Attorneys shared their new Hit-and-Run Reward Program — an anonymous reporting system that gives out cash rewards for people who can contribute information about hit-and-run accidents — at the Walk Like MADD event, and why they continue to actively support Orange County MADD.
