Apparently, questions about the authenticity of taco meat aren't the only thing fast food joints have to worry about. The BISNAR | CHASE Los Angeles wrongful death lawyers are giving them a run for their money, obtaining a very substantial settlement to compensate for a premises liability victim's death. With a little luck, this lawsuit will help fast-food restaurants go the extra mile to keep their consumers safe whilst on their property, at least when it comes to their handrails.

It wasn't that long ago when the victim decided to visit this recently built Del Taco. Having been restricted to a wheelchair, her son was accompanying her down the wheelchair ramp to leave when they were suddenly struck by disaster. The lack of handrails and a sharp drop off to the parking lot--not visible from her son's vantage point--prevented her son from properly negotiating the ramp and she fell out of her wheelchair.
