Day Three of the AIDS/Lifecycle Event with Lorraine Glenn
The Los Angeles Personal Injury Lawyers at BISNAR | CHASE is proud to announce that our sponsored rider in the AIDS/Lifecycle event has successfully made it past day 3. After a peaceful night in tent city (base camp) Loree Glenn headed out with the nearly 3,000 cyclists and volunteers to battle through day three of the AIDS/Lifecycle ride. Tuesday was the one of shortest rides for Loree and the AID/Lifecycle event -- not that I would call 66.7 miles a short bike ride.
As usual the rest stops were all uniquely themed throughout the ride. Tuesday's themes included Hawaii, Alice in Wonderland, France, and the Price Is Right. After Loree left the first stop she was quickly challenged by the infamous hill called the "Quadbuster." This was the most difficult hill of the day. Reaching the top of the monstrous hill brought of tears of joy for Loree and other riders challenged by the giant slope.
Once Loree made it past the Quadbuster hill she was greeted by the townspeople of Bradley who had set up a BQQ to raise funds for their school. The school does this every year during the AIDS/Lifecycle ride to raise funds for their school programs.
Loree's 66.7 mile journey from King City to Paso Robles (as seen in the map above) eventually ended with another victory. After an amazing dinner prepared by the ALC and a presentation by the Positive Pedalers, Loree went to bed to prepare for tomorrow's challenge the evil twin hills.
