Attorneys Wager Over Outcome of NBA Playoff Tonight

Tom Kiley, a personal injury lawyer in Boston, and John Bisnar, a personal injury lawyer in Newport Beach, California, are usually on the same side as they pursue victims' rights. However, not this time.

Tonight Tom and John are in competition of epic proportions as Tom's team, the Boston Celtics, and John's team, the Los Angeles Lakers, go up against each other in the final game of the NBA Playoffs.

Here's what's at stake for the two attorneys. Per their wager, the loser will have to fly the winner to their city and take him to his team's basketball game and a high-end filet mignon steak dinner. And if that's not enough humiliation, the loser will have to wear the hat of the winner's favorite team to the game!

So when you watch the game tonight, keep in mind that it's not just the 2010 NBA playoff game, it's a high-stakes contest for Tom and John. Check back for the results tomorrow.

I have to admit the Lakers played an incredible game. As a Celtics fan it was a real cliffhanger. I was hoping the Celtics could pull it out in the closing minuites of the game but it wasn't to be.

Although my team lost the consolation prize is that I will have the pleasure of my friend John Bisnar's company for dinner and a Celtics game in Boston. Wearing a Lakers hat in Boston is the hard part.

Sorry John, I was cheering for Tom. That was an incredible series and the Celtics should have won. Not sure how the Lakers pulled that win off. Congrats to your team. We were thinking of you last night. Hope all is well!
