BLOG EXTRA ALERT: Recall of the Day, From Mattel

This news is fresh today from the Consumer Product Safety Commission’s Press Room. Mattel is recalling 155,000 Laugh & Learn Leaning Kitchen Toys sold under the Fisher-Price brand after receiving 48 reports of injuries, mostly small parts separating from the toys. This is basically a play kitchen with a pretend refrigerator, range and sink. Two children reportedly gagged on pieces of the faucet and clock hands that detach and pose a choking hazard to younger children. Consumers are asked to stop using these defective products right away. But they won’t get a refund. Fisher-Price is offering a free repair kit to fix the problem. Want more information?
